starts with a pile of hexagons. I am probably the world's slowest quilter, possibly because I like to do as much as I can by hand, rather than machine. Machines tend to splutter and choke on thread, while needles can snap, fingers just get sore and need a little rest.
Time to cut more scraps.

That's going to be very beautiful and I look forward to seeing it. (Love the pebble - I have some like that from Hastings beach, including one with a strange hole in it just like that. Wish I knew what they were!)
ReplyDeleteThat doesn't look like slow work to me; you have an impressive pile! They blocks look good with the pebble, and I am intrigued by what's in stall for the next section of the quilt.
