No matter how small the project, I still get a thrill every time I see something I've made in print. This one is for the June issue of Pretty Patches and the project focuses on visible mending, also known as darning and needle weaving. I've been experimenting with this technique for a while now but have recently scaled up, and am trying my hand at full-sized weaving. I want to keep the delicacy of needle weaving though, and not end up with something that looks like a sheep has been pushed through an egg slicer, so it might take a while to produce anything more than and inch. Hopefully I'll have something to show you soonish though.
Elizabeth,
